Glass House Rishikesh

The Glasshouse on the Ganges, like the other Neemrana 'non-hotel' Hotels, honours both an extraordinary historical site as well as a magical natural spot. Set in a lychee and mango orchard of the Maharajas of Tehri Garhwal, with a garden of tropical plants, full of rare birds and butterflies, it has a sand beach of its own. After the maddening hustle of the crowds which throng the Kumbh Mela, there is no better haven of calm anywhere in the vicinity of Rishikesh. You can easily commute between the Glasshouse and the Kumbh without feeling the strain of its fascinating but continuous oppression of numbers–The calmest bank to watch the Kumbh !

This secluded property has six cottages overlooking the Ganges and the mountains beyond. Its private spring water matches the qualities of the best mineral waters in the world–which you can bathe in! The Glasshouse offers leisure, reading, log fires and even a barbecue near the banks of the river.

Accomodation

• It houses 35 persons in 15 exclusive rooms named after nature and India's holy rivers. Room tariff is payable in advance (at least 20 days) to confirm bookings, failing which the booking gets automatically released.
• Check-in time is 2 p.m. Check-out time is 12 noon.
• One extra bed can be provided per room @ Rs.800/- + tax, if space permits.
• Luxury tax and sales tax as per Government regulations.

Food & Beverages

• Fixed menus are offered at per head rates:
  - Breakfast Complimentary, Lunch Rs.400/-, Dinner Rs.500/-(taxes extra).
• No charge for children below 4 years and half rates for children below 10 years.
• Bar facility is not available.

• Luxury tax 5% on room tariff

• No postponement of booking will be entertained and they will be treated as per the cancellation policy.
